About the Church

Christ Way Campus Resource, OAU chapter started with a mandate from the General Overseer of Christ Way Ministries International in person of Pastor (Dr.) Samuel Odunlami. He gave this mandate to Hope Orike, who gathered with himself six other persons: Victor Taiwo, Niyi Adesighin, Tony Uzenne, Segun Omisore, Kemi and Fati.
We started with a lot of guerilla evangelism, mini fellowship, one-on-one evangelism, breakfast Sundays just to invite people.
Venue was a huge challenge for us. We started by gathering at Main Bowl then moved to Mozambique Hall common room before we finally moved to Moremi Hall common room. All these took place before our inauguration ceremony.
The inauguration ceremony of CWCR took place on August 29, 1997 in front of the Department of Physical and Health Education.

Our Vision Statement

To BUILD, through the agency of the Word and Prayers, excellent ambassadors of Christ, with full understanding of leadership; MANIFESTING the reality of their identity in Christ by shining forth as light in this world; even as they anticipate the Lord's coming.

Our Mission Statement

We are called and committed to Build through the word and prayers and manifest the wisdom of God in this world, perfecting holiness in fear of God even as they anticipate the Lord's coming.
